The Llorona

the legend of the llorona of mexico city. before the arrival of the. Spaniards the aztecs calld cihuacoatl which means in nahuatl. Language snake woman ,synonymous witn tonantzin, our mother an aztec goddes and is said to be walking in the great tenochtitlan. crying ta presentir loss of the great mexican culture. in the colonial era ,around the sixteenth century, was called the llorona . It said that there was a beautiful wowan who marred a spaish military.
They lived a long honey moon, very in love .That love gave birth as a result of four children who
were de adoration of the couple .
But time was cooling down what the military felt by his wife .
So he started having amories with another waman by knowing his wife.
Lost his reason ,so it became mad for revenge and decption of their children drouned in lake texcoco ,to drown her in after him.The military is not learned much , apparently died of sadness
by the loss of their children ,since then take to the curfew...what is curfew?
the sound of the bells of churches that annoucend the arrival of night and who should get home
let us remenber that there was no electric light . wel to be a curfew appeared in the streets colonial a woman who seemed to float , dreeed in white and coverd his face with a thin veil . always shouting arrepentida miiis hiiiiijooossss ayyyy ! .That whoever became mad or died instantly.She walked across the capital of new spain ,awakeing and horrifying to those who heard shouting , wailing with some very sad , until you reach the lake and lost in the haze.
